ROUTE ITINERARY

SPLIT ROUTE

View Split Route on larger map

Starting from the city of Split, this route offers perfect conditions for new sailors.

With a calm sea, small tides and constant good weather, things never get too complicated. The myriad of tiny islands dotted around the area are ideal for island hopping and there are plenty of unexplored bays and inlets for you to discover.

The island of Hvar is a big attraction with its Venician palaces, fashionable restaurants , bars and night clubs. But more than anything you’re coming to Croatia to get a taste of something different and that’s exactly what you’ll get.

This is the route itinerary, which might change due to weather conditions or some unplanned occasion.

SPLIT

Split is one of the oldest and most exciting cities on the Croatian side of Adriatic coast. It is a remarkable example of urban continuity. The orthogonal street plan of this island settlement dates back to the Hellenistic period and it was embellished by successive rulers with many fine public and domestic buildings and fortifications. Its beautiful Romanesque churches are complemented by the outstanding Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period.

HVAR

The city of Hvar offers the richest nightlife on the Adriatic! When we think of Hvar – we think of the island of sunshine, secluded coves, lavander, wine, olive groves and ancient towns. It’s been voted as one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world. Hvar is famous for its fine wines and world-renowned vineyards. But Hvar is much more than that. During the long summer months, Hvar has become the most popular destination for a night out on the Adriatic. As the night progresses, people begin to gather around the many cafes and hotel terraces with live music. The party never stops.

VIS

We will sail with you to the countless hidden beaches and caves of the island of Vis. The islands of Vis are famous for their caves whose unique iridescent blue water will make your visit unforgettable. In the evening, an organized trip to the interior of the island brings you to Rocky’s – a unique local restaurant and vineyard – where those who wish to truly experience Vis will find authentic Croatian cuisine and wine in abundance. Afterwards, the Sailing.hr party will continue into the early morning hours in one of the many clubs in town.

KOMIŽA

Situated in a bay on the west coast of the island of Vis in the foothills of the 600 meter high Mount Hum, Komiza (with around 1500 inhabitants) is a typical Mediterranean town with narrow streets, houses squeezed together around the harbor, numerous beaches, and a mild Mediterranean climate. The eastern coast of Komiža bay is lined with sandy beaches and also with the fresh water springs of Gusarica, Nova Posta, Velo Pebble … Free afternoon program for sight-seeing, relaxing, swimming and lunch … The Sailing.hr party will continue as always at the clubs until the early morning hours.

PAKLENI OTOCI

Palmižana (namely Vinogradišće bay) is a large shallow bay with a beautiful sandy beach. It is surrounded by pine trees, fragrant lavander and rosemary bushes, and a host of exotic plants. These islands are part of the Hvar archipeligo, and we can say without exaggeration, they are the most beautiful on the entire Croatian coast. Free afternoon for swimming, relaxing and the after beach party at the famous Carpe Diem cocktail bar.

BOL

Once upon a time Bol was a settlement of wine-growers, fishermen and sailmen, and today it is primarily a tourist settlement. People are direct and original. Bol is the favorite destination for excursion boats and yachtsmen, and has a special berth in port for yachts. As an attractive tourist destination, Bol promotes its recognizable cultural identity and peculiarities which delight the visitors.

SPLIT

The culmination of this beautiful friendship ends with the last party in one of the popular Split night clubs, where the lovers of good music and crazy parties will enjoy themselves ’till the early morning hours.
